PokerStars qualifier Mateusz Rypulak last night won France Poker Series Paris to claim €150,000 beating Frenchman Sofiane Tigrine heads-up to the trophy. The €1,100 Main Event took place 12-19 November with 715 players fighting it out through the 81 paid places through to the big money final table.
Although he may be just 19-years old, Rypulak grinds online for around 20 hours a week specialising in sit-and-gos. It's only his second live cash and by far the largest.

They weren't the only player to get paid, of course. Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov bust out in 64th for €1,900. That was some way off the kind of finish that he's used to. Katchalov beat Daniel Negreaunu in the PCA Super High Roller January before last for $1,500,000.
Rypulak also win the Skrill last longer bet to win his €1,100 buy-in back. Must be nice.
The next FPS event is the Grand Final being held in Deauville 30 January-2 February which runs into EPT Deauville.
